Aichi-Nagoya, Sept. 25 -- India's squash medal rush gathered pace at the Asian Games here on Friday as Anahat Singh and Abhay Singh stormed into the women's and men's singles semifinals, assuring the country of two more medals.
World junior champion Anahat Singh produced a commanding performance to brush aside compatriot Tanvi Khanna 11-2, 11-5, 11-3 in the women's singles quarterfinals.
The 18-year-old Indian took control from the opening exchanges, using her attacking game and precise drops to race through the first game 11-2. Tanvi attempted to stay in the contest in the second, but Anahat maintained the pressure to take it 11-5 before completing the win 11-3.
