Chandigarh, March 9 -- The Amritsar Police has uncovered a major conspiracy involving a staged firing incident at the residence of a local female councillor in the Faizpura area. Addressing a press conference today, Commissioner of Police (CP) Gurpreet Singh Bhullar revealed that the attack, which was initially reported as a threat to law and order, was actually orchestrated by the family members themselves to influence an ongoing legal dispute related to a love marriage.
