Chandigarh, May 21 -- Amritsar Commissionerate Police have busted an inter-state cyber network allegedly involved in sending fake bomb threat emails to schools and other sensitive institutions, leading to the arrest of a key accused from West Bengal.
The breakthrough came during the investigation of four separate cases registered in Amritsar regarding bomb threats sent to various schools over the past several months. Police said the accused were allegedly using digital platforms to spread panic and disrupt public order through hoax bomb threat emails.
