Amravati, April 17 -- A shocking twist has emerged in the sensational sex abuse and viral video case in Paratwada, Amravati district. A video of police personnel celebrating with the main accused, Ayan Ahmed Tanveer Ahmed, has gone viral.
Speaking to media on Friday, Superintendent of Police (SP) Vishal Anand said six personnel from the Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed to probe the case have been removed from the team with immediate effect. They have been attached to the headquarters' control room, he added.
According to the preliminary investigation, evidence suggested these employees participating in a birthday party of the accused.
