Kolkata, July 6 -- : In a significant message to the people of West Bengal, union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday said that the government will soon complete the process of giving citizenship to displaced Hindus.

Speaking on the occasion of the 125th birth anniversary of Syama Prasad Mookerjee at Milan Mela Ground in Kolkata, he said, "Mookerjee had envisioned protection and dignity for displaced Hindus and we are fulfilling that vision We have introduced CAA. We have done the work of granting citizenship to Hindus and we will complete the process for all those who are eligible," he added.
