New Delhi, Aug. 9 -- union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah on Sunday presented the prestigious President's Colours to the Puducherry Police, recognising the force's bravery, hard work, service and dedication to protecting the union Territory.
Lieutenant Governor K Kailashnathan, Chief Minister N Rangasamy and several other dignitaries were present at the ceremony.
Addressing the gathering, Shah said the conferment of the President's Colours was a major recognition of the Puducherry Police's contribution to public service.
