Jammu, Aug. 31 -- union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived here today in the evening to take stock of flood-affected areas across the Jammu region.
Shah, as per official sources, landed here late evening and reached the Raj Bhawan.
He will conduct an aerial survey of the flood-hit areas of Jammu on Monday and is also likely to visit cloudburst, landslide and flash-flood areas in Kishtwar, Reasi (Katra) and other districts across the region.
"Shah will assess the damage caused and will also be chairing a high-level meeting thereafter at the Raj Bhawan on Monday," they said.
Since August 14, over 120 people were killed and around 150 injured in cloudbursts, landslides and flash floods in Kishtwar, Kathua, Reasi, Doda and Ramban districts.
