Chennai, Aug. 4 -- On a day of dramatic developments, marked by heightened tension, DMK Youth Wing Chief and Leader of the Opposition Udhayanidhi Stalin was arrested for alleged vulgar, misogynist and double entendre remarks against Chief Minister Vijay linked to a popular actress, leading to State-wide protests, taken to Thanjavur after over 8 hrs of travel for questioning and finally released on station bail as per Madras High Court directive on Tuesday night.
