New Delhi, May 18 -- The Centre on Monday said India's fuel and fertiliser supplies remain stable despite the evolving crisis in West Asia, asserting that there is no shortage of petrol, diesel, LPG or fertilisers. The government urged citizens to avoid panic buying amid heightened geopolitical tensions in the Gulf region.
At an inter-ministerial media briefing held at the National Media Centre here, senior officials from the Ministries of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Ports, Shipping and Waterways, External Affairs, and Chemicals and Fertilisers outlined measures being taken to ensure uninterrupted supplies, protect Indian nationals abroad, and maintain maritime operations.
