Chennai, Feb. 17 -- Amid persisting demand for power sharing after the ensuing Assemblypolls by a section of Congress leaders, including Lok Sabha MP Manickam Tagore and PraveenChakravarthy, AICC General Secretary K C Venugopal on Tuesday evening said it was theirpersonal views and was not the stand of the Congress party.

Talking to reporters after a district secretaries meeting of the party, Mr Venugopal, who is on avisit to the city to take part in the padayatra organised by the TNCC against the Centre's moveto restructure the MGNREGA scheme, Mr Venugopal asserted that DMK was Congress' longtime and trusted ally.
