Hyderabad, July 31 -- Global biotechnology company, Amgen, has launched the first Amgen Scholars Programme in India at the International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad (IIIT Hyderabad), bringing its globally recognised undergraduate summer research initiative to the country for the first time.
Supported through a two-year commitment from Amgen extending through summer 2027, the programme aims to promote science education, encourage research careers and nurture future innovators, the company said in a release here today.
The inaugural cohort comprises 10 undergraduate scholars from India, Vietnam, Qatar and Dubai, representing universities across Asia.
