Pune, March 1 -- The Agrawal Marwadi Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Education (AMCCIE) has called for concrete, result-oriented and time-bound reforms in the forthcoming Maharashtra State Budget.

Office-bearers said Maharashtra remains the economic and industrial backbone of the country and requires decisive, policy-driven measures rather than routine announcements.

AMCCIE National President Rajesh Agrawal said Maharashtra needs rapid economic acceleration, not a phased approach. He added that industries and investors expect clear and bold decisions.

He demanded an immediate reduction of stamp duty to 2 per cent. National Vice President Narendra Goyal sought a uniform 2 per cent stamp duty across the state.
