Panchkula, Sept. 1 -- An ambulance carrying a patient to the hospital got stuck in a river crossing in the Raitan area of Pinjore in Panchkula, highlighting the difficulties faced by residents who continue to depend on a damaged river route for connectivity.

According to the sources, the incident occurred at around 9 am when the ambulance was carrying a patient from Narayani village in Himachal Pradesh to the ESIC Hospital in Parwanoo. While crossing the river route falling in Haryana, the ambulance became stuck in the middle of the river.

The river crossing has reportedly been severely damaged by continuous rainfall. With water and mud covering the route, vehicles are having difficulty passing through the stretch.
