New Delhi, Sept. 8 -- Amazon India's seller network has crossed the two million mark, with more than 300,000 new sellers joining the marketplace over the past year as the e-commerce platform gears up for the upcoming festive shopping season.
The company said the addition of new sellers represents its strongest year-on-year growth in seller numbers.
The seller community includes a wide range of businesses, from first-time entrepreneurs operating out of Tier-3 towns to established brands managing thousands of products.
Amazon said it is expanding tools and infrastructure aimed at making online selling easier for businesses, particularly as demand is expected to rise during the festive period.
