Bengaluru, April 23 -- Amazon India on Thursday announced an investment of over INR 2,800 crore (approximately $300 million) aimed at strengthening associate safety, health, and financial well-being, while further enhancing its logistics and operations network in India.
The company said the fresh investment will focus on scaling key social and welfare initiatives such as Project Ashray, Sushruta, and Samriddhi. These programmes are designed to improve workplace safety, expand healthcare access, and support financial security for associates across its operations ecosystem.
