Srinagar, June 16 -- union Minister Jitendra Singh on Tuesday said that this year's Amarnath Yatra will be a success, stating that elaborate arrangements have been made for the smooth conduct of the pilgrimage beginning in the first week of July.

The Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science & Technology, Earth Sciences, PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Singh said the annual pilgrimage is being held for a longer duration this year.
