Srinagar, June 16 -- union Minister Jitendra Singh on Tuesday said that this year's Amarnath Yatra will be a success, stating that elaborate arrangements have been made for the smooth conduct of the pilgrimage beginning in the first week of July.
The Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science & Technology, Earth Sciences, PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Singh said the annual pilgrimage is being held for a longer duration this year.
"The yatra this time is for a longer duration, and the administration has taken care of everything, including from the security point of view. We are confident that the yatra will be very successful," he told reporters in Srinagar on the side-lines of a function in ...
