Chandigarh, June 9 -- Punjab BJP president Keval Singh Dhillon has indicated that former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh could emerge as a prominent face in the party's campaign for the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections, as the BJP sharpens its strategy to expand its footprint across both urban and rural Punjab.
Speaking during a visit to Ludhiana, Dhillon described Amarinder Singh as a seasoned political leader whose experience would be valuable for the party during the election campaign. His remarks came days after the former Chief Minister stated that he had recovered fully and was prepared to undertake any responsibility assigned by the party leadership.
