Siliguri, Aug. 5 -- Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang returned to his alma mater, Darjeeling Government College, on Wednesday to attend its 78th Foundation Day celebrations, turning the occasion into an emotional reunion with classmates and teachers after 36 years.
Among those present was West Bengal Minister of State for Home and Hill Affairs Bishal Lama, also a former student of the college. The two leaders, who share the institution as their alma mater, joined fellow alumni in recalling their student days and interacting with old friends and faculty members.
