Thiruvananthapuram, July 27 -- A threat actor has reportedly been attempting to sell approximately 31 GB of allegedly exfiltrated data purportedly linked to the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and the Indian military, raising concerns over a possible compromise of sensitive defence-related information.
According to a report by the Alibi Global Threat Intelligence Group, the alleged data has reportedly been advertised for sale for the past two weeks, with the threat actor seeking USD 8,000 for access to the purportedly stolen information, Engineering Physicist and Industrial Cybersecurity Specialist K.S. Manoj said on Monday.
