Prayagraj, Feb. 26 -- The Allahabad High Court will hear the anticipatory bail pleas of Swami Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati and Swami Mukundanand Giri on Thursday. Both have filed anticipatory bail pleas in the Allahabad High Court to avoid arrest after Jhunsi police station in Prayagraj registered an FIR under the POSCO Act on the orders of the court.
A single bench of Justice Jitendra Kumar Sinha will hear the petitions. Meanwhile, medical reports of the minor children who were victims of sexual assault by Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananda in Prayagraj have confirmed sexual exploitation of the children. Police conducted medical examinations of both minor victims on Wednesday.
