Prayagraj, Feb. 2 -- Allahabad High Court in a significant decision, has taken a strong stance on the 'disturbing' pattern of several assistant teachers in Uttar Pradesh obtaining jobs based on forged and fabricated certificates.

The High Court has issued a writ of mandamus to the state government, directing it to conduct a comprehensive investigation across the entire state.

The order was passed by a single bench of Justice Manju Rani Chauhan. The order was loaded on Monday in the website. The court directed the Principal Secretary, basic education, to complete this task, if possible, within six months.
