Prayagraj, Nov. 7 -- The Allahabad High Court has rejected the bail applications of four accused in the murder of lawyer Umesh Pal and two policemen. The single bench of Justice Shekhar Kumar Yadav delivered the verdict here on Friday.
The court has rejected the bail applications of Akhlaq Ahmed, who is the brother-in-law of the late mafia Atiq Ahmed, Atiq's lawyer Vijay Mishra, driver Mohammad Kaif, and an aide, Niaz.
Earlier, the court had reserved its decision on October 29 after hearing the bail applications of all four.
