Lucknow, April 25 -- In a strong crackdown on alleged corruption in the education department, the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court has ordered the immediate removal of the District Inspector of Schools (DIOS), Barabanki, OP Tripathi, and directed a probe by the Special Task Force (STF).
The order came during the hearing of a petition filed by college manager Sardar Alok Singh.
Justice Rajeev Singh, while taking serious note of the matter, termed the issue a case of administrative misconduct involving possible forgery and manipulation of official records.
