Hyderabad, Nov. 13 -- District Election Officer and GHMC Commissioner R V. Karnan on Thursday said that all arrangements have been completed for the counting of votes polled in the Jubilee Hills by-election held on November 11.
Addressing the media at the DRC Centre in Kotla Vijayabhaskar Reddy Indoor Stadium, Yousufguda, he said counting will begin at 0800 hours on Friday, starting with postal ballots.
Karnan said votes from 407 polling stations will be counted. With 58 candidates in the fray, the Election Commission granted special permission to set up 42 counting tables, and the process will be completed in 10 rounds.
