Kolkata, May 24 -- The 51st All India Inter School Invitation School Rowing Championship organised by Lake Club got off to a fine start with more than two hundred boys and girls representing 43 schools from West Bengal and Jharkhand joining the most popular school regatta event in the country at the Club complex here on Sunday.
Lake Club President Indtanil Ghosh declared the meet open after hoisting the national flag along with the school captains hoisting the respective flags of their respective schools to mark the inauguration of the week-long meet which also include indoor rowing competition.
