Hyderabad, Oct. 17 -- The annual Alai Balai cultural event, aimed at promoting Telangana's cultural heritage and social harmony, will be held at the Nampally Exhibition Grounds here on October 22, Alai Balai Foundation Chairperson Bandaru Vijayalakshmi announced on Saturday.
Addressing a press conference along with former Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, she said the annual Dasara get-together would bring together political leaders cutting across party lines, public representatives and citizens.
Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and other political leaders are expected to attend the event, she said.
