Lucknow, May 25 -- Samajwadi Party (SP) National President Akhilesh Yadav has launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Uttar Pradesh over the state's power crisis.
He said that frightened BJP MLAs and MPs are creating a "paper shield" of letters to avoid the growing anger caused by the unbearable "major power crisis" in the state.
Sharing a post on social media on Monday, Akhilesh Yadav said that these letters of BJP leaders are not a "public interest letter" to their government, but an "application for a ticket" from the opposition in the upcoming elections, leaving the sinking ship of the BJP.
