New Delhi, June 18 -- Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday launched a sharp attack on a minister in the Uttar Pradesh government, citing a news report that alleged widespread corruption linked to promises of election tickets, transfers, postings and government contracts, and claiming that those who allegedly paid money in advance are now searching for the minister after realizing they had been misled.
In a post on his WhatsApp channel, Yadav used satire and political innuendo to target the unnamed minister, referring to reports that disgruntled aspirants, officials and contractors were now holding meetings to locate him and seek accountability for alleged financial dealings.
