Lucknow/Delhi, Oct. 11 -- The temporary suspension of former Uttar Pradesh chief minister and Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav's official Facebook account has sparked outrage among party leaders, who accuse the ruling BJP of attempting to "suppress the Opposition's voice."However, BJP has said the government has nothing to do with the FB action.
Union Minister of Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnav said in Delhi that, "Facebook blocked the account due to some abusive posts. It is the policy of the FB and the government has no role in it."The FB account of Akhilesh Yadav was blocked for around 15 hours. However, it is functioning normally now.
