Shimla, Feb. 24 -- Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav arrived at the Badrika Ashram in Himachal Pradesh's Sirmaur district on Tuesday morning for a private spiritual visit.
According to sources, the Samajwadi Party leader reached the ashram in Maryog village around 9 a.m. His visit was kept strictly confidential, with no prior public announcement. Local authorities and ashram officials maintained privacy, and media access was restricted.
His wife, Dimple Yadav, along with their daughter, had reportedly arrived at the ashram about a week earlier. The family is said to be on a spiritual retreat and pilgrimage.
