Aizawl, Feb. 14 -- The second edition of the Aizawl International Half Marathon 2026 concluded in grand fashion on Saturday, with nearly 3,000 runners - including 16 elite international athletes - turning the hilly capital of Mizoram into a buzzing arena of global sport and endurance.
Flagged off in the early morning hours at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Mualpui by Vijay Kumar Singh, the event showcased an impressive blend of international excellence and domestic enthusiasm.
Athletes from Kenya, Ethiopia, Bahrain, the United Kingdom, France and other countries ran shoulder to shoulder with elite and amateur runners from across India, particularly the northeastern states, lending the race a truly international character.
