Panchkula, June 16 -- Seeking to ensure accurate data collection on student enrolment, faculty strength, infrastructure and academic programmes across educational institutions, the Haryana Higher Education Department has directed all newly established and unregistered institutions to obtain registration on the All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE) portal. The move is aimed at bringing every eligible institution under the national higher education database, which is used for policy planning, accreditation, scholarships and assessment of the education sector.
