Hanumakonda, June 12 -- Former AISF National President Takkalapalli Srinivasa Rao on Friday demanded that the Telangana government immediately constitute a Fee Regulation Committee and enact legislation to curb what he termed the exploitative fee practices of private and corporate educational institutions.

Addressing a round-table conference organised by the AISF district unit in Hanumakonda, he alleged that arbitrary fee hikes by private institutions were forcing parents into debt and called for strict action, including withdrawal of recognition for institutions violating norms.
