New Delhi, April 28 -- Indian airlines have sought urgent assistance from the government as rising aviation turbine fuel (ATF) prices put the industry under extreme stress, warning that they are on the verge of "shutting down or suspending operations."Federation of Indian Airlines (FIA), comprising of Air India, IndiGo & SpiceJet, wrote to Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) requesting urgent support required for ATF pricing to continue airlines operations amid West Asia crisis.
