Varanasi, June 9 -- The religious city of Kashi is set to create history in October next as for the first time, an air show will be held at Kashi's Namo Ghat.
Air Force officials are in constant contact with Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport officials. It is expected that more than three dozen aircraft, including the Rafale, will display their might in the air.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and other dignitaries are also likely to attend.
Suryakiran jets will take off from Varanasi Airport, while other jets will fly from districts surrounding Kashi. These aircraft are expected to include Rudra helicopters, C-295 helicopters, Tejas helicopters, and Dakota helicopters.
