Parwinder SandhuNew Delhi, May 15 -- Chief of Integrated Defence Staff Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit on Friday said unmanned aerial systems have fundamentally altered the character of warfare and stressed that India must urgently accelerate indigenous drone, counter-drone and autonomous warfare capabilities to stay ahead of evolving threats.
Addressing a seminar on Unmanned Aerial Systems and Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems, jointly organised by the Centre for Aerospace Power Studies and IMR, Air Marshal Dixit said future wars can no longer be fought by individual services operating in silos.
