Kolkata, July 31 -- Air India, Japanese eVTOL aircraft developer SkyDrive Inc. and Suzuki Motor Corporation have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to jointly study the feasibility of using electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft for medical air logistics in India.
The three companies said the study will explore the use of eVTOL aircraft for time-critical medical logistics, particularly in urban areas where severe traffic congestion often delays the movement of essential medical supplies and emergency healthcare services.
