Bengaluru, Jan. 4 -- Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal AP Singh on Sunday underlined the critical importance of timely deliveries of indigenous fighter aircraft to ensure that the Indian Air Force (IAF) remains operationally ready in the face of evolving security challenges.

Speaking at the inauguration of the two-day national seminar Aeronautics 2047, organised by the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) at the Centre for Airborne Systems (CABS), he congratulated ADA on completing 25 years of Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas flights and stressed that meeting production and delivery schedules is vital to maintaining the IAF's combat preparedness.
