Hyderabad, Feb. 27 -- Telangana Minister for Women and Child Welfare Danasari Anasuya Seethakka on Friday said the State government is committed to making Telangana a model state in women and child welfare, with special focus on eradicating malnutrition and strengthening Anganwadi services.

The Minister held a comprehensive review meeting with District Women and Child Welfare Officers (DWOs) at the office of the Director of Women and Child Welfare Department in Madhurnagar.

During the review, discussions were held on budget allocations and expenditure, implementation of ongoing schemes, proposals for the next financial year, construction of Anganwadi buildings, free pre-school education, attendance at Anganwadi centres, preschool activiti...
