Patna, May 27 -- In a landmark achievement for the medical fraternity of Bihar and the country, AIIMS Patna has secured a prestigious place in the Limca Book of Records for successfully performing the largest skull bone tumour removal surgery recorded in India.

The recognition has been awarded to Dr. Saraj Kumar Singh, Additional Professor, Department of Neurosurgery, AIIMS Patna, and his dedicated medical team for successfully removing a massive skull bone tumour measuring 22 cm x 16 cm x 7 cm and weighing approximately 830 grams from a 29-year-old male patient.
