Chennai, June 13 -- Strongly condemning Karnataka 's continued push to implement the Mekedatu dam project across river Cauvery, the AIADMK in Tamil Nadu on Saturday urged the ruling TVK headed by Chief Minister Vijay to take all steps to stall the move and secure due share of monthly quantum of water as mandated by the final award of the Cauvery Water Disputes Tribunal and save the farmers in delta districts hit by non-release of water from Mettur dam due to inadequate storage level.
