Puducherry, April 2 -- Communist Party of India (Marxist) Politburo member and former Tamil Nadu State Secretary K Balakrishnan on Thursday said the AIADMK and actor-turned-politician Vijay's nascent Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) will face defeat in the April 23 TN Assembly elections.
The CPI(M) leader, whose party is a constituent of the muLti-party DMK-led Secular Progressive Alliance (SPA), said AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami, who is heading the NDA comprising BJP, PMK, AMMK, TMC and other minor parties, and also the CM face of the Front, and former BJP TN State President K Annamalai had traded charges against each other and were now together in the NDA.
