Bhubaneswar, Aug. 6 -- Odisha has been selected to pilot an artificial intelligence (AI)-based child growth monitoring system that can assess a child's weight, height and other key anthropometric parameters using a mobile phone video, officials said on Thursday.
The technology was demonstrated by representatives of the Wadhwani Foundation during the State-level observance of World Breastfeeding Week 2026, organised by the Department of Women and Child Development (WCD) in Bhubaneswar.
