Mysuru, June 24 -- An unbeaten 96 from Suraj Ahuja went in vain as Bengaluru Blasters held their composure to defeat Coastal Kings Mangaluru by 20 runs in a high-octane DACSS Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 clash here on Wednesday.
In a match dominated by power-hitting from both sides, Bengaluru posted a towering 226 for 6 after being put into bat. The innings was built on a solid platform by KL Shrijith, who struck a brisk 59 off 33 balls, while Rohan Patil (30 off 14) and Samit Dravid (39 off 21) kept the momentum flowing through the middle overs.
Late fireworks from Shubhang Hegde (34 off 18) and Praveen Dubey (45* off 21) pushed Bengaluru to a daunting total, despite a disciplined spell from CA Karthik, who picked up 3 for 49.
