Hyderabad, June 22 -- Members of the Telangana AgriGold Victims' Association staged a protest at Indira Park today, demanding immediate government intervention to resolve the long-pending issues of AgriGold depositors.
Addressing the dharna, Association President Pashya Padma urged the Telangana government to constitute a special committee and establish a special court for AgriGold victims. She also demanded the seizure of AgriGold assets, including those allegedly held under benami names, and sought an ex-gratia payment of Rs 5 lakh to the families of victims who died by suicide following the company's collapse.
