Hyderabad, May 23 -- Telangana Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao on Saturday stressed that agricultural universities must provide modern technologies to farmers and help them address future challenges in the farming sector.
The Minister was reviewing research activities related to modern drone technologies at Professor Jayashankar Telangana Agricultural University (PJTAU) in Rajendranagar here.
Observing that labour shortages in agriculture are likely to increase in the future, Tummala emphasised the growing importance of drone technology in farming operations.
