New Delhi, Nov. 6 -- Days after a 35-year-old Delhi resident was killed in a hit-and-run incident in central Delhi, police on Thursday announced the arrest of the accused driver from Agra.
The case came to light on November 2 when LNJP Hospital notified police about a man brought in dead, with injuries suggesting a road accident. The deceased was identified as Rajendra Gupta, a resident of Krishna Nagar.
Following the incident, police registered a case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and launched an investigation.
Officers scanned footage from multiple CCTV cameras in the area and conducted thorough field inquiries to identify the vehicle involved.
