Chennai, Aug. 22 -- Still smarting under the stunning rout in the recent Assembly polls, the main Opposition DMK in Tamil Nadu on Saturday decided to undertake a major revamp of the party apapratus, fixing tenure and setting age limits for key party posts, besides infusing young blood to strengthen the organisational structure.

Resolutions to this effect was adopted at the DMK's Executive Committee meeting chaired by Party President M K Stalin held here.

While announcing a major restructuring of its organisational set up, introducing age and tenure limits for key party posts, the meeting also proposed a new framework for its district, union, town, area and ward-level units.
