New Delhi, July 21 -- Farmers from Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh were stopped at multiple points on Tuesday while attempting to march to Delhi to protest the proposed India-US trade deal, with farmer organisations alleging that authorities had blocked their movement across all three states.
Bharatiya Kisan union (BKU) media in-charge Dharmendra Malik claimed that police had prevented protesters from reaching the national capital by stopping them at district and state borders.
