Meerut, Oct. 16 -- Two days after awarding the death sentence to Muskan and her lover Sahil in the murder of her husband Saurabh in the infamous ' Blue Drum' murder, now the Meerut District Court on Friday has given the death punishment to Ravita and her lover Amardeep, who murdered her husband and got him bitten by a snake.
The court gave its verdict in just 547 days after the incident.
Without naming the Blue Drum murder case, ACJM-12 Jaiveer Singh Nagar said, "Killing in such a manner is a heinous crime."The judge cited Sati Savitri in his verdict, saying, "A wife observes the Karva Chauth fast for her husband's long life, but here she committed an act with her lover that is unforgivable."The judge considered it the rarest of rare case...
